06/2019 - Training for SOLENE in Dakar

 

In response to the request of Boubacar Sow, Director of SOLENE ESE, a company involved in off-grid PV for more than 20 years, Claude Campion for 3C Projects conducted a 4-day batteries and energy storage systems training session in Dakar for the Senegal team with the participation of some of SOLENE's main customers. The purpose of the training was to upgrade in the knowledge of different storage technologies to optimize choice and sizing according to applications with great consideration to the installation and maintenance part. The successful exchanges will update the various installation and maintenance procedures and will help to manage the extensions of use. One of the remarkable comments of the participants is: "When I was told 4 days of training around the battery I thought it would be too long, after 4 intensive days, I think we still have interest in digging the subject for different cases applications... »

 

SOLENE.ESE WEST Africa - Sicap Sacré Coeur 3 - Dakar SENEGAL aims to study PV Off-Grid projects, install systems and maintain them for applications as diverse as pumping, street lighting, electrification of health centers, schools, rural electrification, as well as the supply of energy for Telecom antennas (BTS), the development of mini-grid, and also On-Grid systems with network injection or self-consumption. SOLENE ESE has three operational entities geographically set in, Senegal, Mali and Guinea with a permanent staff of about 40 people for the 3 countries.

11/2018 - Soogreen Celtic Plus Project with Oranger

 

The Final Review of SooGreen project is accepted by Public Authority from France and from Sweden. They mentionned "The overall impression gained about the project is excellent."

 

3C Projects has been involved for 3 years in the SooGreen European Projects sponsored by european governments within Celtic Plus Organisation.

 

The main objectives of SooGreen are to reduce the energy consumption of services and to improve the mobile network architectures and content delivery taking advantage of the smart-grids, by using an holistic approach at the level of network components, architecture, management and control.

 

As referenced subcontractor of Orange SA, 3C Projects  took part to the following tasks :

 

- Lithium batteries tests achievements and general specifications of an innovative BMS

 

- Dimensioning and simulation report for hybrid Lithium Batteries and Hydrogen Energy

 

- Li tests and model, with Orange 12 V BMS

 

- Development of BMS : BMS Detailed study and experimental analysis on unit functionalities and communication functions 

06/2018 - SNCF SIGALI Projects Contribution

 

3C Projects provides its batteries expertise to SNCF Ingenieurie & Projets as well as SNCF Innovaitons for the development by ABB of the first SNCF lithium batteries Energy Storage Solution dedicated to stand-by application. The purpose of the solution is to ensure a long term backup service to the signaling systems on one hand and to offer a peack shaving service to the Sarcelle St Brice Railways station (near Paris) on the other hand. The system has been successfully commissionned in June 2018 and is now operating under qualification process.(see video...) + (see poster)

08/2017 - ITU-T Recommandation Telecom

 

3C Projects is cited in the bibliography of ITU-T (International Telecom Union) recommandation dedicated to Inovative energy storage technology for stationary use.
